A pool retreat designed in collaboration with Ratcliffe Architects. The new pool and pool house were sited to align with the existing house and outdoor terrace. A site wall was designed to align with the existing architecture and frame the pool space. A hot tub was located to relate to the pool house and pool while being situated in a private setting. A drainage channel weaves down through the space and pours through the site wall, while walkway bridges traverse over the channel and connect the pool area to the main house. A mix of native and ornamental plants reinforce the new spaces.
